Fast Meals

by admin on Jul.22, 2009, under Uncategorized

Without a mom around to cook their meals, college students are always on the lookout for meals that don’t take long to make.  They want fast meals that are ridiculously easy to prepare.  Here are some examples.

Students tired of plain spaghetti can jazz up their pasta dishes by adding chopped Italian sausage to their noodles and sauce. This can be a surprisingly filling meal for even the hungriest of college students.

Chili may seem more complex, but its surprisingly easy to make. Students need only purchase some ground beef, chili beans, chili powder, tomato paste and diced tomatoes to make a quick fundamental chili.

The next step up from basic macaroni is spaghetti. Again, its simple to make, requiring college students to do little more than boil water and open a bottle of spaghetti sauce.

For students who fear the oven, a soup-and-sandwich combo is always an easy dinner. Canned soups come in a wide array of flavors today. And students can buy nearly any type of bread and sandwich meat combination they prefer. Some varieties are actually quite nutritious.

For college students who prefer homemade pizza, its quick and simple to make English muffin pizzas. They simply need to buy a package of English muffins, some pizza or spaghetti sauce, shredded cheese and any other toppings they prefer.

And the best news is that many of these meals are inexpensive. For cash-strapped college students, a few quick homemade meals can be a financial lifesaver.
