The Taylor Site

I got invited to go with some friends on a trip to the Poconos.  One of the guys I went to college with moved there for work.  He says it is awesome and that there is no place more beautiful that he has ever lived.

I did some research and took a guys recommendation about picking the best Pocono hotels.  I am looking forward to a little resort life for a solid week.  I see that this place is obviously a honeymoon destination.  I guess that pretty much rules out me hooking up with some nice single girl while I am there.

I was hoping that we could get a round of golf in.  But, I guess that is pretty much out of the question due to the time of year and this thing called snow.  The skiing is supposed to be good there though.  I love to snowboard.  I don’t think anyone else who is going does though.  Bummer.

That is okay.  It probably would have cost be another hundred bucks to put my snowboard on a plane.  The airlines are just ridiculous with fees these days.  I hope Southwest goes there.

If it is anything like college was then it is going to be a giant drunk fest where half the guys end up puking their guts out.   I plan on taking some liver pills ahead of time to be good and prepared for a serious bender.  I don’t know if I can survice an entire week of this kind of alcohol abuse.  But hey, I am willing to give it a try.  Wish me luck.

One of these days I will actually get around to working on this.  I am checking out Ancestry.com.

So far that seems like the most logical place for me to start.
